Human-Centered Data Governance in Healthcare

The Digital Urban Center for Aging and Health eG (DUCAH) is seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) for the project“SilVeR – Intelligent Appointment Scheduling Platform for the Silver Society to Improve Access to Healthcare in Rural and Structurally Weak Regions”

Starting on July 1, 2025 (initially limited until June 30, 2026, with the option for extension). The position is offered at a minimum of 75% of full-time weekly working hours. Remuneration is based on the collective agreement for the public sector (TV-L 13).

About the Project
The SilVeR project aims to develop an AI-supported appointment scheduling platform for the healthcare sector. A core component of the project is the development of a robust, human-centered data governance strategy. This strategy is based on insights gained from stakeholder workshops and focus groups, which identify barriers to use—especially for older adults. The goal is to establish efficient, needs-based, and ethically responsible data usage that optimizes access to health services while respecting users’ privacy and needs.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop a human-centered data governance strategy
  • Conduct needs and requirements analyses from the perspectives of the Silver Society and medical specialists
  • Define system and data processing design, considering the characteristics of the healthcare and social sectors
  • Ensure quality assurance throughout the development process regarding data governance, user requirements, and technical implementation
  • Coordinate partner institutions and communicate with the project management agency
  • Handle internal administrative tasks, such as supporting tender procedures

Your Profile
  • Completed master’s degree (required), ideally in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, or Healthcare
  • Understanding of the technical, social, and legal aspects of data governance
  • Basic knowledge of creating stakeholder-centered requirements, user interface design, and the technical architecture of mobile applications
  • Knowledge of the technical collection, processing, and storage of data, as well as legal frameworks
  • Familiarity with stakeholder structures in the healthcare and social sectors is a plus
  • Practical experience in user experience, quality assurance of development projects, and/or scientific project work
  • Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and fluent German (spoken and written)
  • High degree of personal responsibility, reliability, strong communication and organizational skills, and an interdisciplinary mindset
